CorasWorks plans to hire about 15 people in the next three months. Larry Roshfeld, vice president of marketing and corporate development, talked with The Post's Andrea Caumont.

QWhat does your company do?

AWe provide modular software components and pre-built business solutions for Microsoft SharePoint and the Microsoft Office system. We provide components for customers to build their own collaborative business solutions. We also provide prepackaged solutions that customers can use out of the box or extend to meet their business needs. The components allow you to view and consolidate information and integrate your collaborative application with other parts of your business productivity suite. They also allow you to create more-robust business applications to do project management, sales tracking, human resources, expense tracking, and travel planning.

What do you think your employees would say are the best reasons for working at your company?

I think it's because we're extremely successful and rapidly growing and we provide a challenging, fun and fast-paced environment. People learn a lot. Also, we use our own product to provide a virtual business workplace for our employees. All of our employees work from their home offices. There are a lot of people who like the flexibility of being able to work from a home environment.

Who owns your company?

We're jointly owned by the founders, employees and venture capital investors.

What sense of stability can your company offer job candidates?

We've been in business for 2 1/2 years, and we have over 400 customers in 35 countries around the world. More than 300,000 people use our products on a daily basis. We're not only successful and stable, we're also growing.

What are the demographics of your company?

Company-wide we're 16 percent both female and minority. Within the four-person senior-management team, there are no women or minorities.

What positions do you have available, and what level of expertise do you want?

We're looking for three field account executives with five years of sales experience in the software industry, one inside sales representative with two to three years of experience, three solutions consultants with five years of both sales and technical experience, two to three entry-level to senior-level software engineers, three partner managers with two to four years of experience, two marketing managers with three to five years of experience, and one marketing coordinator with one year of experience.
