"Ride-On," which open Tuesday at the Museum of History and Technology examines the impact cycling has had on the American lifestyle from its introduction in the 1870s, through the eras of velcoipedes and high-wheelers to the advent of the mass-produced two-wheeler.

The exhibit, adapted from a Smithsonian Traveling Exhibition Service presentation, is in the museum's pendulum area and continues into fall. Details and hours: 628-4422. Today
