Valerie Anne di Sant' Agnese was married May 14 in Parish Church, Gistel, Belgium, to Philippe Bouckaert. A wedding reception, at the bridegroom's family estate, was attended by guests from Italy, Greece, England, Switzerland, Germany, and the United States.

The bride, who wore an Italian gown and a long heirloom veil of Brussels lace, is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Paul A. di Sant' Agnese of Bethesda, Md. Her father is an internationally know professor of pedistrics, and her grandfather, Dr. Valerio di Sant' Agnese was a famous obsterician-surgeon and physician to the Italian royal family. Mrs. Bouchart, studied in Switzerland and the Sorbonne, and graduated from the Madeira School, Smith College, and Wharton Graduate School of the University of Pennsylvania - M.B.A. 1974.

Mr. Bouckaert, son of Professor and Mrs. Louis P. Bouckaert, holds an engineering degree from the University of Louvain where his father is a professor of mathematics.As a Fulbright scholar, Mr. Bouckaert received an M.B.A. in 1972 from Harvard Graduate School of Business. He is an international banking associate with Continental Illinois Bank of Chicago, Antwerp branch; his bride was assistant manager of the Milan, Italy branch. They will live in Brussels after a trip to Sardinia.
