On June 11 at St. Gregory's Church, Harrison, N. Y., Mary Elen Bertrand became the bride of Scott Douglas Ballin with the Rev. Arthur Pote officiating. A reception followed at the Westchester Country Club.
The bride, daughter of Mrs. John M. Perez of New York, N.Y., wore a summer satin gown with organza and Alencon lace. She was given in marriage by her father, Dr. Charles A. Bertrand of Harrison, and attended by Denise M. Hill and Regina Donovan as maids of honour. Elizabeth Bremer, Rebecca O. Provost, Elizabeth Ballin Hobden, Mary M. Brooks, Maureen Meharg, the bridesmaids, and Christina Hill, the flower girl.
The son of Mr. and Mrs. William C. Ballin of New YOrk, N.Y., was served by Joseph Dillon Sullivan as best man and the ushers were Christopher Bergesen, John Donnelly Sherman Donnelly MIchael Mimno, Brian Morrison, and Brooks Robertson.
Mrs. Ballin attended Marymount Academy (N. Y.) and received a B.S. degree in political science from Mt. Vernon College. Mr Billian, a legislative analyst for William Kohler of this city, is an alumnus of St. Albans School here, and is a graduate of Georgetown School of Foreign Service now attending Georgetown's graduate school. The couple honeymooned in Bermuda and will reside in Washington, D. C.
