Mary Evelyn Hewitt and Bruce Morgan Casner were united in marriage in New York on September 29 in the chapel of Mr. Casner's home church, Fifth Avenue Presbyterian; Dr. Bryant M. Kirkland of that church presided assisted by the Rev. John Boyles, a friend of the Casners and pastor of the Capitol Hill and Westminster Presbyterian Churches in Washington. Mrs. Barbara Mclntire of New York was matron of honor and Dimitri P. Madouros of Athens, Greece and Forest Hills, N.Y., the best man. Following the ceremony, Mr. and Mrs. Casner received friends and associates in their suite at the Plaza Hotel. A larger reception was held here on October 2 at the Capitol Hill Club, where Mr. Casner is a member.

Mrs. Casner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford L. Hewitt of Grand Ray. Ala., is a native of Pascagoula, Miss. She attended the University of Southern Mississippi and the University of Lausanne, Switzerland with graduate courses at The American University in this city. She is currently employed as media director of Morgan Casner Associates, Inc., a political and public affairs consulting organization heaquartered in Washington. Her father is recently retired from the Litzon-Ingalls Ship Building Company in Pascagoula, and her mother is the former Evelyn Kidd of Vienna, Ga.

Mr. Casner is founder and president of Morgan Casner Associates. Inc., and managing general partner of a Washington real estate investment trust. A political science graduate of The George Washington University, he is currently serving as president of the Washington. D.C. Alumni Chapter of Sigma Chi Fratenity. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley James Casner of Forest Hills, N.Y. His father is an executive with World-Wide Volkswagen Corp., Orangeburg. N.Y., and his mother is the former Miriam Elizabeth Morgan of Atlanta, Ga.

Mr. and Mrs. Casner will reside at Mr. Casner's home on Capitol Hill.
