At the Second Presbyterian Church, Staunton, Va., Martha Ellen Barbee, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ashby W. Barbee of Arlington, and Daniel William Waltz, son of Mr. and Mrs. William D. Waltz of Massillon, Ohio, exchanged marriage vows written by the bridal couple. The Rev. Lewis Draper, assisted by Paul B. Knopp, officiated at the double ring ceremony on November 5, with nuptial music by Mrs. Meetle Desper, organist, and Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Lam, the vocalists. A reception followed in the fellowship hall.

he bride was lovely in a gown of white sataglow and a fingertip illusion veil - both accented with Venetian lace. Her nosegay was of white pompons and yellow roses. Draper, Connie Thomas, Pamela Taylor, Carol Amstrong, Susan Todd, Elizabeth Welton, and Lynn Killingsworth.

Mrs. Waltz, a graduate of Yorktown High School and Mary Baldwin College, is a second grade teacher at Churchville Elementary School. Her husband, a graduate of Brunnerdale Seminary High School (Ohio), served in the U.S. Navy and is now with Nutt Farms, Inc. After a trip to Pennsylvania, they will reside in Middlebrook, Va.
