In a candlelight ceremony last Saturday evening, Suzanne Lowry Crist was given in marriage by her father to Luther Harris Dudley II, in the Morrison Chapel of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Charlotte, N.C. Dr. John Randolph Taylor performed the double ring ceremony. The bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Letcher Crist Jr. of Charlotte, entertained at a reception at the Charlotte Country Club.

The bride was lovely in a gown of white silk organza with bands of white satin. Her Brussels lace cathedral length veil belongs to her sister-in-law, Carter Flemming, who was in attendance along with the bride's sister, Sara Elizabeth Crist, as maid of honor, Merrin Toler, Bryan Baldwin, Katherine Morris, Dorothy Tull and Brandon Chapman.

Mr. Dudley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Eastham Waller Dudley and grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Luther Harris Dudley, all of Alexandria, was served by his father as best man. Groomsmen were: Waller T. Dudley, brother of the groom, Michael Flemming, Timothy Thompson, William Cogar, Reid Northern Jr. and David Shuford.

Mrs. Dudley is a graduate of St. Catherine's School, Richmond, a cum laude graduate of Duke University, Durham, and in May received a master's in business administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She made her debut with the Charlotte Debutante Club and the Terpsichorean Ball.

Mr. Dudley is a cum laude graduate of Washington and Lee University and was a member of Omicron Delta Kappa.

After a wedding trip to Sea Island, Ga., the couple will reside in Charlottesville where Mr. Dudley is a third-year law student at the University of Virginia.
