Last Saturday in the Dahlgren Chapel of Georgetown University here, Francesca Hagadus, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Ronald J. Hagadus of Bedford Hills, N.Y., and married to Hudson Campbell Meadwell, son of Mr and Mrs Frederick C. Meadwell of Winnipeg, Canada. The Rev. John Farrelly, OSB, officiated at the double ring ceremony while the bride's sister, Claudia, was maid of honor and Jane Davidson, the groom's sister, the bridal attendant, Kenneth Meadwell was his brother's best man with James Hagadus and Eric Meadwell, brothers of the bridal couple, as the ushers.
The bride attended the Lycee Francais in Mexico City and Marymount Secondary School in Tarrytown, N.Y. She was graduated from Georgetown University where she also received her MA degree in Russian area studies. Her father is assistant clinical professor of ophthalmology at New York Medical College and is director of the Low Vision Service of Westchester County Medical Center. Her mother is an artist and translator for Robert Wilson and the Byrd Hoffman Foundation.
The groom was graduated from the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg and is currently a PhD candidate in political science at Duke University. His father is plant manager of the Winnipeg Post Office.
The couple will honeymoon in Ontario and make their home in Washington, D.C.
