Julia Clare Ziurys, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Julius Ziurys of Potomac, Md., formerly of Gates Mills, Ohio, was married to Willcox Kirkland Ruffin, son of Dr. and Mrs Willcox Ruffin Jr. of Norfolk, Va., on June 17 at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Gates Mills. Msgr. William F. Gallagher, pastor emeritus, solemnized the ceremony, which was followed by a reception at Walden II, the country home of Mr. and Mrs. James Perley Storer. The preceding evening the groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner at the Hillbrook Club.

The bride was given in marriage by her father and she wore a traditional fitted gown of silk organza reembroidered with Alencon lace and seed pearls and fashioned with a Queen Anne collar and cathedral train. The triple-tiered veil was attached to a matching lace and pearl headpiece. Her sister, Margaret Anne Ziurys, was maid of honor and her other sister, Lucy Marie Ziurys, was a bridesmaid along with Maria Traugott Rixey, Deborah Page Gabriel, Deborah Christine Butteri, Sarah Elizabeth Bruce, and Margaret Dick Meads with Mary Kathleen Buss as the flower girl.

Dr. Ruffin was his son's best man and the ushers were Jack Ruffin, the groom's brother; Bartholomew John Ziurys and Douglas Guy Ziurys, the bride's brothers; Walter Kelly, Alonzo B. McKeel III, Peter C. Keefe, and James Falk.

Mrs. Ruffin is a graduate of the Laurel School in Shaker Heights and Duke University. Mr Ruffin, a graduate of the Norfolk Academy and Washington and Lee University, is matriculating at the University of Virginia School of Medicine in Charlottesville, where the couple will reside after a wedding trip to Bermuda.
