Nancy Jean Fleetwood, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Allen Fleetwood Jr. of Charlotte, N.C., was married last Saturday to James Forrest Miller, son of the Honorable and Mrs. Jack Richard Miller of Bethesda, Md., at Christ Church in Charlotte. The Rev. Joel Keys solemnized the ceremony which was followed by a reception at Carmel Country Club. A wedding breakfast was held at the home of the bride's parents and the preceding evening the groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner at the Charlotte City Club.

Escorted by her father, the bride carried a cascade of Rubrum, lilies and trailing ivy. Her ivory silk-faced chiffon gown had accordion sleeves and a high-necked bodice trimmed in Alencon lace with bands of matching lace on the accordion train and floor-length veil.

Sandra Kimball, the maid of honor, was accompanied by six bridesmaids: Leslie Kilough Black, Karen Kaye Turner, Mary Lou Fine, Jaynie Kay Miller, Judy Miller McLaughlin, and Janice Miller Flanagan. Bradford Davis served as the best man and the ushers were Edgar Allen Fleetwood Ill, Steven Allison, Ivan Shandor, Bruce Fine, John Flanagan, and Robert Flynn.

The bride is an analyst with the Department of Transportation's Federal Railroad Administration and the bridegroom is with the law firm of Baker and McKenzie. The couple will reside in Alexandria after a wedding trip to Jamaica.
