Stealey Jenkins, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Stealey Jenkins of Greenwich, Conn., was married last Saturday to Richard Howarth Ashley, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Richard S. Ashley of Washington, D.C. The Rev. Father Martin Hitchcock performed the ceremony at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church in Greenwich. Mrs. Thomas Tight of Plantation, Fla. was her cousin's matron of hornor, Amanda Maguire of New York City, the maid of hornor. Other attendants were Janet Ashley, daughter of the groom, Lisa Jenkins, sister-in-law of the bride, Clara Crawford, Nancy Pond, and Cassandra Skoures. William Fogarty of Washington was best man assisted by the bride's six brothers and the groom's son, Richard R. Ashley, Marie and Katherine Hogan were the flower girls.

Mrs. Ashley was graduated from the Convent of the Sacred Heart in Greenwich and Trinity College here. Her father is senior vice-president of Davis, Dorland and Company of New York City. Her grandfather, the late Frank C. Walker, was Postmaster General and chairman of the Democratic National party under Franklin D. Roosevelt.

Mr. Ashley is a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School in this city where he is a builder-developer. His father was commissioner of conciliation for the United States Departments of Labor.
