Jean Saralee Cooper and Bert Morse Concklin were married last Saturday afternoon in the garden at Green Spring Farm in Alexandria Va., celebrated by Orrin R. Magill Jr. of McLean.
Ms. Cooper is an administrative judge on the Board of Contract Appeals for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and has served as a trial attorney with the Office of the Solicitor, U.S. Department of Labor from 1970-77.She is a member of the Louisiana and Georgia state bars and is active in numerous professional associations including the American Bar Association. The bride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Cooper of Huntington, N.Y., is a graduate of Tulane University and Emory University School of Law.
Mr. Concklin is a management consultant with McKinsey & Company, Washington, D.C. He served as deputy assistant secretary of Labor for Occupational Safety and Health from 1975-77; as price administrator for the Cost of Living Council from 1971-74, and as deputy assistant administrator for the Federal Energy Administration from 1974-75. A graduate of the U.S Naval Academy, Mr. Concklin is the son of John B. Concklin of Delray, Fla. and Cook, Minn. and the late Mrs. Concklin, and the father of two children, Mitzi Jo and John Todd Concklin, by a previous marriage.
The couple will reside in Falls Church, Va.
