The marriage of Flor A.R. Sarkissian and Gerald E. Bunker took place recently in the Paca Gardens in Annapolis with the Rev. Clark Hock, pastor of the Annapolis United Church of Christ, officiating. The bride is the daughter of Senora Ines MaBoitel DeRubio and the late Manuel DeRubio Bario, a former congressman of the Republic of Cuba. The groom is the son of George M. Bunker of Washington, D.C., a former chairman of the board of the Martin Marietta Corp., and Mrs. Virginia Bunker of Duxbury, Mass.
Given in marriage by her brother, George DeRubio, the bride wore a Mexican gown with full sleeves and lace inserts. Attending the couple were their children: Lisa Bunker, maid of honor, Julie Sarkissian and Annabeth Bunker, the bridesmaids; Mark Bunker, best man; Jeffrey and Andrew Bunker ushered along with Eric and Cy Winter.
The bride attended the University of New Mexico. The groom has a doctor's degree in history and Far Eastern languages from Harvard University, and is the author of the book. "Peace Conspiracy." Dr. Bunker is in his final year of medical school at Queens University in Belfast, Northern Ireland, where the couple will live after wedding trip to the Caribbean.
