A Nuptial Mass at St. Ann's Church in this city celebrated the marriage of Mary Colleen Reidy, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Vincent Reidy, to Joseph Vernon Truhe Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Vernon Truhe, on July 8. Msgr. William J. Awalt, pastor, officiated and the reception was held at Kenwood County Club.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by Susan Walter as maid of honor; Mary Kay Boyle and Denise Gilbert, her cousins, and Janet Truhe, the groom's sister, the bridesmaids. Sharon Arcaro, the bride's cousin and godchild, was the junior bridesmaid.

Acting as best man was Robert Lesnick and the ushers were Gordon Hylton, Lauris Rall, James Thompson and Timothy Reidy, the bride's brother.

The bride is a graduate of Immaculata Preparatory School and the College of Notre Dame of Maryland, where she was elected to Sigma Delta Pi, the Spanish national honor society. She is employed by the IBM Corp.

The groom is a graduate of St. John's College High School, Yale University and the University of Virginia Law School. He is an associate with the Rockville, Md. law firm of Miller, Miller and Canby. The couple will make their home in Rockville.
