St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Pittsburgh, Pa. was the setting for the marriage of Deborah Ann Christ, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Christ of Pittsburgh, and Christopher S. Zourdos, son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Zourdos of Bethesda, Md., on August 26. The Nuptial Mass was celebrated by Bishop Anrhimos of Pittsburgh assisted by the Rev. John Tavlarides, dean of St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Washington D.C., the Rev. Sarantos Serviou, dean of St. Nicholas Cathedral, and the Rev. George Scoulas of Sts. Peter and Paul Church in Glenview, Ill. A reception was held in the Grand Ballroom of the Hilton Hotel in Pittsburgh's Golden Triangle.
The bride's sister, Mrs. Michael Pilafas of Chicago was matron of honor and the groom's uncle, Andrew Manos of Bethesda, the best man. The bridal attendants included Francine Dickas, Jeanne Chirigos, Angeline Michaels, and Mrs. Timothy McKee, all of Pittsburgh; Christine Santrizos, New York; Michael Pilafas, Chicago; Peter Stassa, Boston; Gerald Jasko, Texas; Timothy McKee and George Dickas, both of Pittsburgh. Hiliary Nellas was flower girl and the bride's godson, Lee Nellas, the ring bearer.
Mrs. Zourdous was graducated from Hood College (Md.) and was home economics director with the Pittsburgh department of education. Mr. Zourdos, a graduate of Colgate University with graduate work at American University, is general manager of Courtesy AMC Jeep in Rockville, Md.
After a wedding trip to Hawaii, the couple will reside in Potomac, Md.
