Catherine Gardner McFall and Peter Forbes Olberg, both of Washington, D.C., were married last Saturday evening at St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Jacksonville, Fla. Ms. McFall is the daughter of Mrs. Albert Dodge McFall of Jacksonville and the late Commander McFall. Mr. Olberg is the son of Mr. and Mrs. F. Forbes Olberg of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The Rev. Barnum McCarty and the Rev. Theodore Liley of Cedar Rapids, officiated.

The bride, given in marriage by her brother, Albert Dodge McFall Jr., wore her mother's wedding gown of ivory satin with clusters of seed pearls forming a grape pattern and a full fan tail train. Her seed pearl lace cap held a shoulder length blush veil of illusion and a long veil appliqued with Alencon lace, and she carried white camellias and lilies of the valley.

Carita Doggett Corse of Jacksonville and Atlanta, Ga. was maid of honor and Mrs. Raymond Clarence Hartung of Radnor, Pa., the matron of honor. Other attendants were Miss Jane Olberg and Miss Christine Olberg, sisters of the groom; Miss Frances Bryan and Miss Eleanor Kenyon Varn, both of Jacksonville, and Miss Barbara Tollis of New York, N.Y. They were gowned in white chiffon with bateau necklines, fitted waists, and attached overlays.

Acting as best man for Mr. Olberg was his uncle, Edwin Horace Wadsworth Jr. of Charlotte, N.C. Stephen O'Donnell, Cedar Rapids; Eames Hamilton Yates, Washington, D.C., both cousins of the groom; Tom Alfred Bernstein, New York, N.Y.; Thomas Rhodes Bright, Washington, D.C., Edward Kelly, Charlottesville, Va.; and Nicholas Gearhart, Cedar Rapids, were the groomsmen. The ushers were David Beaudouin, Baltimore, Md.; William Parsons Prowell, Hadlyme, Conn. Andrew McArthur Edwards, a cousin of the bride and son of Mr. and Mrs. John Andrew Edwards III, Urbana, Ill., was the ring bearer.

A reception, immediately followed the ceremony, followed at Timuquana Country Club.

The bride is the granddaughter of Mrs. John Richard Livingston of Jacksonville and the late Mr. Livingston and of Rear Admiral Andrew Calhoun McFall of Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. and the Mrs. McFall. A professional writer, Ms. McFall is an alumna of the Bartram School, studied at the University of Paris, graduated magna cum laude from Wheaton College, Norton, Mass., and received her master's degree from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore.

Mr. Olberg is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Horace Wadsworth of Cedar Rapids, and of Mrs. Archibald Olberg of La Crosse, Wisc. and the late Mr. Olberg. He graduated from Phillips Exeter Academy; was summa cum laude with a BA degree from Yale University and received his JD degree from Yale Law School. Mr. Olberg is currently associated with the law firm of Arent, Fox, Kintner, Plotkin and Kahn in this city.

Following a trip to Rio de Janeiro, the couple will reside in Washington, D.C.
