Deborah Robinson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George H. Robinson, and Robert McCloud, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ike Davis of Montgomery, Ala., were married recently by the Rev. R. G. Williams at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in this city. A buffet dinner reception followed in the Burgundy Room of St. Mary's Church in Landover Hills, Md.
The bride was attended by her sister, Bonnie Robinson and Sandra Robinson Silver, as maid and matron of honor, respectively; Lois Hill, Sybil Jamison, Phyllis Edwards, Lynn Nicholson and Sandi Butler, were bridesmaids. The groom was served by his brother Michael McCloud, as best man and the groomsmen were Edward Daniels, Clarence Griffin, Brian Silver, Kenneth Mosby, Myron Nicholson, and Don Shaw.
Mrs. McCloud, a 1978 graduate of Spelman College, will enter Atlanta University for graduate studies in psychology. Her father is special assistant to the administrator of the Small Business Administration and director of the agency's office in equal employment opportunity and compliance. Her mother is in child development services of the D.C. schools as a school attendance worker. Mr. McCloud graduated from Morehouse College in 1977 and is employed in a private industry management program. He will be undertaking graduate studies in business administration. His mother is a visiting nurse with Health Services, Inc., in Montgomery and his father is retired.
The bride and groom are making their home in East Point, Ga., a suburb of Atlanta.
