A Nuptial Mass in the Post Chapel at Fort Myer, Va. celebrated the marriage of Mary Elizabeth Marcotte and Richard L. Corrigan on September 16 with the Rt. Rev. Msgr. Vincent A. Tatarczuk of South Portland, Me. officiating. A reception was held at the Washington Country Club in Arlington.
The bride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roland L. Marcotte of Lewiston, Me., had Catherine E. Graybill as maid of honor. The groom, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Corrigan of Amherst, Wisc., was served by Allan D. Cors as best man with Roland L. Marcotte Jr., Brian M. Marcotte, Mark R. Corrigan, and Patrick M. Corrigan as the ushers.
A graduated of Newton College of the Sacred Heart (Mass.), Mrs. Corrigan is director of the Information and Member Services Division of the National Rifle Association of America and formerly served in a public relations position with the Roman Catholic Diocese of Portland. Her father is president of Marcotte Chevrolet, Inc. in Auburn, Me. Mr. Corrigan, a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, holds a BS in secondary education and an MS in political science. He is director of Governmental Affairs for the American Consulting Engineers Association in this city. They are residing in Springfield, Va.
