All Saints Episcopal Church, Palo Alto, Calif. was the seting for the marriage of Heloise Irene Bloxsom and Walter Stanley Lynn on November 4. The Rev. Drs. James McLeod and Wendy Smith performed the morning ceremony uniting the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Edgar Bloxsom Jr. of Los Angeles to the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Stanley-Lynn of Arlington, Va. A reception was held in the parish hall.

The bride was attended by her sisters, Katherine as maid of honor; Caroline and Iolande Bloxsom along with Gwen Berry, as the bridesmaids. Terry Fulp served Mr. Lynn as best man and Alastair Bloxsom, the bride's brother, Rob Clayton and Giovanni daPratt, were ushers.

Mrs. Lynn, an alumna of the Marlborough School, was a member of the first freshman class to include women at Bowdoin College (Me.) from which she graduated with a double magna cum laude. Now a doctoral candidate, she took a master's in geophysics and was also employed in oil exploration with Texaco in Houston, Tex. Her father, now retired, was a partner of Rhodes and Bloxsom, an aerospace firm now merged with KMS Industries, and her mother is a former president of the Radcliffe Club of California.

Mr. Lynn, a member of Phi Kappa Phi and Sigma Xi honor societies, is a magna cum laude graduate of Princeton University. He holds a master's in geophysics from Oregon State University, and is also a doctoral candidate at Stanford. His father is a retired executive of the Chesapeake and Ohio Railroad.

The couple will live in Palo Alto.
