The marriage of Laura Francesca Soli and Nicholas John Hammond took place at All Saints Episcopal Church in Beverly Hills, Calif. on October 28. The Rev. George Trippe performed the ceremony; Timothy Woolsey played Schumann's "Arabesque" and David Hammond and Peter Soli read from the Scriptures. A reception was held at the Bel Air Country Club.

Mrs. Hammond, the daughter of Mrs. Howard W. Reynolds of Bel Air and Dr. Giorgio Soli of Santa Barbara, is an alumna of Notre Dame Academy and a graduate of the University of California.She was lovely in a gown of mousseline de sole with Chantilly lace and seed pearls. The attendants: Denise Placidi, the bride's cousin, as maid of honor and the bridesmaids: Jane Keilholtz, Loretta Innalfo, Jr., Lisa Reynolds and Diane Quinn, were gowned in rust velvet.

Mr. Hammond is the son of Mrs. Thomas W. Hammond Jr. of Washington, D.C. and the late Colonel Hammond. He is a graduate of the Landon School and Princeton University. His brother, David Hammond, acted as best man and the ushers were Alan Brinkley, Timothy Woolsey, Mark Wine and Peter Soli.

After a honeymoon in Europe, the couple resides in Pacific Palisades, Calif.
