Jami Lynn Biles and the Rev. Ronald Joseph Degges will be married January 6 at the North Chevy Chase Christian Church, of which the Rev. Degges is assistant minister.

The bride-elect, a technical information officer with the Department of Energy, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Martin B. Biles of Kensington, Md. Her father, Dr. Biles, now retired, was director of the Division of Operational Safety with the Atomic Energy Commission and the Energy and Development Administration. Miss Biles attended Holton-Arms, the International School of Brussels, the American School of Paris, and Walter Johnson High School. A graduate of Mills College (Calif.) with an MA from the University of Maryland, she is a member of PhiTheta Kappa honorary fraternity and a hereditary member of the Colonial Order of the Crown and the Magna Charta Dames.

The Rev. Degges is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Randall C. Degges of Clinton, Md. His father, a retired metropolitan police captain, is an assistant sergeant at arms of the U.S. Senate. An honors graduate of Surrattsville High School, the Rev. Degges graduated magna cum laude from Carson-Newman College (Tenn.), studied at Oxford University in England, and was awarded the MA with honors from Yale University Divinity School. He is a member of Phi Eta Sigma, Phi Sigma Tau, and Alpha Chi honor societies, and he is the recipient of "Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities" award.

Marti Lee Masini, wife of Prof. Mario Masini of Milan, Italy, will be her sister's matron of honor. Edward R. Degges will act as his brother's best man.
