In the Post Chapel at Fort Myer, Va., Germana Faini and Col. Robert George Martin Storey, USA ret, were united in marriage on Saturday, November 11. The Rev. Father William English, of Our Lady of Victory Parish, officiated at the traditional Roman Catholic ceremony. A reception followed immediately at the Watergate Hotel.

The bride, given in marriage by her brother, Romano Faini of Rome, Italy, wore a gown of white satin with a lace mantilla, and she arried a bouquet of baby's breath and white sweetheart roses and carnations. Purita Jumez, the maid of honor, was gowned in silk lilac and rose. Cmdr. Jay Coupe, USN, of Philadelphia, Pa., served as best man.

Mrs. Storey, daughter of the late Mayor of Verons, Virgilio Faini, and Mercedes Poggiogalli, was born in Rome. She studied at the Pestalozzi School in Switzerland and spent a year each at the Sorbonne and at Cambridge University pursuing studies in foreign languages and literature. Hse has served in posts with the Italian Embassy in Saigon and in Washington and is now executive secretary to the president of International Developers, Inc., in Washington.

Colonel Storey, the son of Mr. and Mrs. L. M. Storey Sr. of Fairview Park, Ohio, was graduated from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio, and did graduate work at George Washington University. After a 30 year career in the regular army, most of which was spent abroad, he was retired in 1973. He then served in the Department of States as executive assistant to Ambassador at Large Ellsworth Bunker on the Panama Canal negotiations. He is presentaly vice-president of International Development Corporation in Washington. Colonel Storey is the widower of Nannette Frances Hart of Boston.

After a wedding trip to Colonel Storey's home in Mijas, Malaga, Spain, the couple will reside in this city.
