The Springfield Hilton was the setting for the double ring ceremony where Marsha Elien Breeden, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William J. Breeden of Lorton, Va., was united in marriage to Donald Nathan McDonald, son of Mrs. Antonia K. McDonald of Alexandria and the late Nathan H. McDonald. The Rev. Blaine Brim officiated and a reception followed the ceremony.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a beautiful white chapel length gown of French reembroidered Alencon lace on English netting. The high neckline and long sleeves were graced by delicate lace motifs as was the train, and framing her face was a matching chapel length veil. Carrying a bouquet of gardenias, white roses and stephanotis, the bride was attended by Cynthia Chesson as maid of honor and Sheryl Harding, Donna Reid, Jo Ellen Reed, and Dawn Witter, as bridesmaids. The groom's brother, Alex Klemko was best man and George Joyner, Craig Pritchard, Carmen Yebba and Darren Witter, were groomsmen.
Out of town guests included Claudie McDonald and Mrs. Frances Simmons of Mitchell, La.; Mrs. Wanda Filipczuk of Columbus, Ga.; Mrs. Grace Davis and Mrs. Lottie Evans of Williamsburg, Va.; Mrs. Suzanne Buckingham and Mrs. Gail Chesson of Ivor, Va.; and Ned Brigman of Blacksburg, Va.
The couple is residing in Lorton, Va. after honeymooning in Florida.
