The Marriage of Karen Louise Bredesen and David Joseph Fahey was solemnized at Holy Family Catholic Church in Fairmont, N.Y., on Saturday, April 28, with the Rev. Harald Bredesen of Escondido, Calif., uncle of the bride, and Father James McCloskey of Fairmont, officiating. The bride is the daughter of Mr. Norman Bjorne Bredesen of Capitol Hill and Mrs. Dorothy Antil Bredesen of Reston, Va. The groom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Francis Fahey of Camillus, N.Y., celebrated their 34th wedding anniversary on their son's wedding day.
The bride is the granddaughter of the late Rev. and Mrs. Alfred Bredesen of Decorah, Iowa, and of Mrs. Michael C. Antil of Fort Wayne, Ind. who attended the wedding, and the late Mr. Michael C. Antil. She is the great granddaughter of the late, late Rev. and Mrs. Adolph Bredesen of Stoughton, Wisc. The groom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Quinn and of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Fahey, all of Syracuse, N.Y.
Sandy Giemza, Syracuse, was maid of honor; Mary F. Maybee, sister of the groom, Valeri Byrd, Washington, D.C., Sue Von Pless, Caro, Mich., and Merilee Armstrong, Altmar, N.Y., were the bridesmaids. Eugene Cella, Syracuse, was best man with Mark John Bredesen, brother of the bride, Scott Clark, Groton, Conn; George Venditti and Joe Giancorelli, both of Syracuse, were the ushers. Also attending were the brothers of the bridal couple: Tim, Paul and Mark Fahey and Eric Tod Bredesen.
Wedding guests were from the District of Columbia, California, Connecticut, Indiana, Michigan, Missouri, Texas, Virginia, Canada, and New York.
Mrs. Fahey attended Cazenovia College with further studies at Syracuse University. Mr. Fahey is a graduate of Onondaga Community College. She is with the Nationwide Insurance and he is with Strathmore Paints. In September, they will take a delayed honeymoon trip to Ireland. CAPTION: Picture, no caption
