Washington, D.C. - The Navy Chapel was the setting last Saturday, May 26, for the marriage of Kathleen Donoghue Gillette to L. Lee Bowman Jr. Chaplain Raymond Fitzgerald performed the ceremony uniting the daughter of Rear Adm. (USN ret.) Norman C. Gillette of Long Beach, Calif. and Mrs. Thomas Starr King of McLean, Va. to the son of the film and television actor Lee Bowman and Mrs. Bowman of Los Angeles.

The bride was attended by her sisters, Virginia Edwards of Oakton, Va., matron of honor, and Teressa Escudero of Neguri, Spain, the bridesmaid. Thomas S. Lee of New York City was best man, Douglas Edwards, the usher, with the bride's nephew, Geronimo Escudero, as the right bearer.

Mrs. Bowman attended the University of Madrid, the Sorbonne, and was graduated from Georgetown University's School of Languages and Linguistics. Mr. Bowman was educated at Phillips Exeter Academy, Kenyon College, and the University of Aix-Marseilles in southern Europe.

Mrs. Bowman is the New England marketing representative for Fjord Spring Water. Mr. Bowmen is the president of a national public relations consulting firm, The Kingstreet Group, which advises senior corporate executives, political candidates and government officials with headquarters in Newport, R.I., in which city Mr. and Mrs. Bowman will make their home.
