Margaret E. McNamara and Robert A. Pastor were married last Saturday, June 16 in Chilmark, Martha's Vineyard. The ceremony was performed by John Alley, Justice of the Peace. Donald Pastor was his brother's best man and Kathleen McNamara, the bride's sister, the maid of honor.

Mrs. Pastor is the daughter of Robert S. McNara, president of the World Bank, and Mrs. Margaret Craig McNamara, founder and chairman of the board of Reading is Fundamental, Inc. The bride holds of BA from Stanford University and masters degrees in dance and anthropology. Formerly a legislative assistant to the Council for a Livable World, the bride has also worked as a dance instructor and choreographer. She is on the technical staff of the MITRE Corp.

Mr. Pastor is the National Security Council staff member responsible for Latin American and Caribbean Affairs. Before that he was executive director of the Linowitz Commission on U.S.-Latin American Relations, a consultant to the Commission on the Organization of the Government for the Conduct of Foreign Policy, and a teaching fellow at Harvard University where his PhD dissertation won the Toppan Prize. The son of Norman Pastor, president of Pastor Construction Co. in Irvington, N.J. and Mrs. Ruth Kagan Pastor, is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Lafayette College (Pa.), and served in the Peace Corps.
