Edith Anne Fraser was given in marriage by her father to Joe Lovemen Oppenheimer on Sunday, July 1. Rabbi Joe Weinberg officiated at the ceremony at the Cosmos Club where a reception followed. The couple's parents are Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Fraser of Atlanta, Ga. and Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Oppenheimer of Birmingham, Ala.

Attending the bride were Mrs. Robert Kertz as matron of honor, Mrs. Divo Tonti, Mrs. Jerry Oppenheimer, Mrs. Cornelius Murphy, Mrs. Virginia Moore and Mrs. Tina Hobson, the bridesmaids and the junior bridesmaids were the Misses Dewie Oppenheimer, Nance Cardwell and Ann Murphy. The groom's father served as best man. Kirby Howlett, Thomas Fraser, John Landgraf and Jerry Oppenheimer, brother of the groom, ushered. Paul Fraser, Clad Oppenheimer and Neil Murphy were junior ushers.

The bride is an alumna of the Westminster School, Duck University and Harvard University. She is the president and founder of Fraser Associates, one of the largest public relations firms in the United States. Mr. Oppenheimer is a tax lawyer with the firm of Williams, Myers and Quiggle. He is a graduate of Shades Valley School, the University of North Carolina and the Law School of the University of Virginia.

After a wedding trip to Rome, Capri and Sardinia, the couple will take up residence in Georgetown. CAPTION: Picture, no caption
