Eleanor Irene Locklin became the bride of David Martin Clark on June 24 at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, Alexandria, in a candelight ceremony performed by Dr. James Roy Smith. A reception followed at Belle Haven Country Club. Attending the couple were Mrs. Ralph Jones McMurphy and Miss Susan Lynn Clark; James Richard Hoffman, G. Gregory King, Lawrence and Tracy Locklin, Ralph Jones McMurphy, James Henry Loomis III, Scott Douglas Semmler.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Rivers Locklin of Alexandria, Va. and Mobile, Ala. The bridegroon is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Edward Clark Jr. of Fairfax. She is the grandaughter of Mr and Mrs. Tracy Hendricks Huffstutler of Trucaloosa and the late Mr. and Mrs. Anderson J. Locklin of Monroeville, Ala. Mr. Clark's grandparents are Mrs James Henry Loomis, Springfield Mass., and the late Mr. Loomis and Mrs. William Edward Clark, Durham, N.H., and the late Mr. Clark.

The former Miss Locklin graduated from Fort Hunt High School and attended the University of Alabama where she was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. She was the 1976 Alabama Cherry Blossom Princess in the National Bicentennial Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington, D.C. Mr. Clark graduated from Oakton High School in Fairfax and is now president of Clark Enterprises. After a wedding trip to Hilton Head, S.C. the couple will reside in Falls Church.
