Jill Sigmon, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jackson Sigmon of Bethlehem, Pa., and Gary Melnick, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Melnick of Bethesda, Md., were married by Rabbi Allen Juda in Temple Beautiful at Brith Sholom Community Center in Bethelehem on June 10. Herman Friedman, the bride's grandfather, chanted the "Seven Blessngs" in Hebrew at the altar. Hilary Sigmon, sister of the bride, and Ellen Dealtry, were honor attendants assisted by Jan and Erica Sigmon, her other sisters; Mrs. Mark Sigmon, her sister-in-law, Melita Gitler, Yonkers, N.Y.; and Stacey Wilkes, Rockville, Md. Richard Melnick was his brother's best man with brothers, Scott and Matthew Melnick as the ushers along with Mark and Billy Sigmon, the bride's brothers; Brian Melnick, Robert Zuta and Alan Schwartz.

The reception was held at Holiday Inn East., after which he couple left for Paradise Island in Nassau.

The bride received her BFA from Boston University and her MFA from American Univeristy. She is a graphic artist in Washington and recently held her first one-woman show at the Lanington school for Boys in Bethesda. The bridegroom was graduate from Walt Whitman School and Tufts University, attended Standfod Uniersity Law School, and is now a medical student at George Washington University.
