The forthcoming marriage of Ann Frances Zumwalt to Dr. Michael Patrick Coppola has been announced by the prospective bride's parents, Admiral and Mrs. Elmo Russell Zumwalt Jr. of Milwaukee, Wisc. Dr. Coppola is the son of Mrs. Gerald Marchand of Quebec, Canada and the late William F. Coppola of New Haven, Ct. The wedding will take place next Saturday, August 11, at the Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament in this city.

Miss Zumwalt, is a 1975 graduate in philosophy of the Catholic University of America, is studying nursing. Her father was Chief of Naval Operations, a member of the Joint Chief of Staff from 1970-1974, and the Democratic candidate for the U.s. Senate from Virginia in 1976. He is currently president of the American Medical Buildings, Inc. in Milwaukee. Her mother is the former Mouza Coutelais-duRoche of Harbin, Machuria and her grandparents are the late Drs. Elmo and Frances Zumwalt of Tulare, Calif., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Andre Coutelais-du-Roche.

Dr. Coppola, a 1970 graduate of Notre Dame High School where he was named a state of Connecticut scholar, received the BS in biological sciences magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa from Fordham University in 1974. He holds the degree of doctor of medicine cum laude from Georgetown University School of Medicine, where he will do his second year residency in internal medicine. CAPTION: Picture, no caption
