Maureen Anne Fitzpatrick, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph H. Fitzpatrick Jr. of Bethesda, Md., was married to Mark Eric Conrad, son of Dr. and Mrs. Marcel E. Conrad of Birmingham, Ala., on August 11, at St. Jane DeChantal Catholic Church in Bethesda. The Rev. Edward J. Denion, SJ, of Philadelphia, performed the ceremony assisted by the Rev. Kathleen Fitzpatrick, the bride's sister, was the maid of honor, and the bridesmaids were Carol Conrad, Cindi Fitzpatrick, Patricia Fitzpatrick, Lillian Quigg and Nacy Veihmeyer. Marcel Conrad of San Francisco, the groom's brother, was best man while Alfio Bruno, Michael, Robert, Terence, and Thomas Fitzpatrick, were ushers.
Mrs. Conrad graduated from Ursuline Academy and is a 1979 graduate of the University of Maryland. Mr. Conrad graduated from Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School and is pursuing his studies at the University of Maryland.
