In historic St. John's Episcopal Church, built in 1815, on Lafayette Square in this city, Karen Sue Ellsworth exchanged marriage vows on August 4 with Kenneth Douglas Todd. The Rev. James C. Holmes, rector, performed the double ring afternoon ceremony uniting the daughter of Mrs Dorthy A. Ellsworth of Washington, D.C. and Robert G. Ellsworth of Tampa, Fla. to the son of Mrs. Joan Kingsbury Todd of Lake Wales, Fla. and the late Howard Todd. The bride is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Wilbur of Coral gables, Fla. and the groom is the grandson of Mrs. L. C. Kingsbury of Lake Wales and Mrs. E.G. Todd of Frostproof, Fla.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore her mother's wedding gown of satin and imported lace enhanced by a fingertip veil with pearls and matching lace attached to a coronet headpiece, and she held a lovely arm bouquet. Her maid of honor was Jenny Warren and Donna Ellsworth, Penny Hall, Peggy Upchurch , Linda Gray and Mrs. Jane Moser, were bridesmaids; her nieces, Denise and Deborah Wilbur were flower girl and guestbook attendant, respectively. Herbert R. Todd served his nephew as best man and the groomsmen were David Todd, Rick Hemenway, Eric Anderssen, and Morten Gronn.

After a reception on the terrace, dinner was served in the Crystal Room of the Sheraton Carlton with dance music by the Meyer Davis Orchestra.

Mr. Todd is an alumnus of Sanford Naval Academy and completed studies in the College of Commerce and Industry at the Unversity of Wyoming, where he met his wife. A graduate of East Carolina University with a master's from the University of Wyoming, Mrs. Todd is a member of Alpha Phi sorority and Zeta Phi Eta, national honorary and his fraternity is Kappa Sigma.

The newlyweds went on a honeymoon trip to St. Thomas, and are now living in their home in Laramie, Wyo., where the former Miss Ellsworth is a speech language clinician and her husband, who was with Varsity Contractors, is now self-employed.
