Holly Elizabeth Myers and Edward Kirk Neely were married on October 6 in a garden setting at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert John Myers of Washington, D.C.The ceremony, performed by the Rev. Lee McGee, Episcopal Chaplain and Associate Director of Campus Ministries at The American University, was followed by a reception at the Cosmos Club.

The bride, who is retaining her maiden name, attended The Madeira School, Greenway, Va., graduated Brown University in 1976, and is currently a master's candidate at The American University in this city. Her father is an author and publishing consultant and her mother is the undergraduate counselor at the School of International Service at The American University. The bride's grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. James D. Watson of Chicago, Ill. and of Mrs. Hallet F. Myers of Nappanee, Ind. and the late Mr. Myers.

Mr. Neely, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Neely of Reno, Nev. and Cashiers, N.C., graduated form the Hotchkiss School (Ct.) and Brown University. He is presently a medical student at the University of Cincinnati. His father was chairman of the Doric Corporation in Oklahoma City until his retirement in 1975. Mr Neely's grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward K. Gaylord of Oklahoma City and Mrs. R. C. Neely of Amarillo, Tx. and the late Mr. Neely. Mr. Gaylord was president and publisher of the Daily Oklahoman and Oklahoma City Times until his death in 1974. He was prominent in contributing to the development of the state of Oklahoma for over seventy years.
