Pamila Faye Davis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Russell T. Davis of Dumfries, and William Renwick Ausley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur H. Ausley of Triangle, Va., were married last Saturday in the First Baptist Church of Woodbridge. The Rev. Fred A. Rivenbark of Durham, N.C., the bride's maternal grandfather, and Dr. Renwick C. Kennedy of Camden, Ala., the groom's maternal grandfather, officiated at the two o'clock ceremony following nuptial music presented by Mrs. Edie Mae Peed, organist, and Mrs. Melodie Cox, vocalist. The reception was held at Dumfries Holiday Inn.
Mr. Davis gave his daughter in marriage. She chose an exquisite Southern Victorian pleated chiffon wedding gown embellished with schifflie lace and seed pearls. Her matching hat was covered with silk venise lace and tulle with cascading ribbon and she carried Georgiana orchids with lavender silk delphinium. Nancy McEntyre was maid of honor; Mary and Lisa Ausley, sisters of the groom, and Tracie Stewart, were bridesmaids, with Michelle Davis, the bride's cousin, as the flower girl. Mick Spitler was the groom's best man and the groomsmen were Max Ausley, Greg Davis, Richard and Ed Dickinson, and Mike Spitler.
The couple will reside in Dumfries.
