Sandra Lee McCleary and Stephen Joseph Troese were married September 29 at 3:30 p.m. in a double-ring ceremony performed by Father William Cleary and Pastor Wayne Koening in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Landover Hills, Md. A reception was held at the Lanham Sheraton Inn.
Escorted by her uncle, James Hardy of Baltimore, the bride wore a gown of ivory pleated chiffon and schiffli embroidered lace, featuring a duchess neckline and a chapel length train which was complemented by a matching hat. Attached to her parasol was a bouquet of white roses, carnations and baby's breath.
Mrs. Nancy Finnicum was matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Anne Graybill and Darci Troese, daughter of the groom, who also sang and played nuptial music on the guitar during the ceremony. Col. H. Guice Tinsley was best man with Stephen J. Troese Jr. and Christopher Troese, sons of the groom as the ushers. Elicia and Marcia Troese were flower girls with Timmy Kelly, son of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Helly of Hungtingtown, Md., as ring bearer.
The new Mrs. Troese, daughter of Mrs. Faye Mosier of Knox, Pa., is the owner and director of Happy Faces Day Care Center in Camp Springs. She is a graduate of Clarion State College (Pa.) and is completing the master's program at the University of Maryland. Mr. Troese, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Troese of Clarion, Pa., is an attorney in Camp Springs. He attended Pennsylvania State University and Gannon College and received his law degree from Catholic University. They are now at home in Upper Marlboro, Md., after a wedding trip to Las Vegas, Lake Tahoe, and California.
