Mrs. Audrey Ingram Johnson of Washington, D.C. is happy to announce the engagement of her daughter, Adrienne Renee Fairley to Eric Rogers McCaskill of Newport News, Va. and Los Angeles, Cal. The wedding will take place April 19 at the All Souls Church, Unitarian, District of Columbia.
Ms. Farley is the daughter of the late Edward Franklin Fairley, who was Supervisor of After Care, Department of Human Services, Social Rehabilitation Administration, in this city. She is step-daughter of Mrs. Alicia L. Fairley, Coordinator of Social Services, Maternal and Child Health Division, Department of Human Services, and of the late Dr. John Beauregard Johnson, Professor of Medicine, Howard University College of Medicine and Director of Cardiovascular Diseases, Freedmen's Hospital (Howard University Hospital). The bride-elect is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, and a graduate of the Cambridge School of Weston, Mass. and the Annenberg School of Communications, University of Pennsylvania, with a degree in mass communications. She recently has been contracted as image consultant for Columbia Records' latest album release "Back for More" by Washingtonian, Al Johnson.
Mr. McCaskill, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Haywood Thomas of Newport News, Va., set outstanding records as a football and track star at Huntington High School in Newport News. He holds a degree in political science and a master's in industrial management from Purdue University (Ind.) where he was also a star athlete. The prospective groom, a member of Omega Psi Phi fraternity, is membership representative for the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP), West Coast. He is senior associate and his fiancee junior associate of Portfolio Management Consultants of Beverly Hills, an entertainment management firm.
