The marriage of Laura Wynn Belknap, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Starr Belknap of Galesville, Md., and Michael McConnell Mannix, son of Dr. and Mrs. Edgar P. Mannix of Escondido, Cal. took place at four last Saturday in Holy Trinity Church in Georgetown. The Rev. Francis Meoan, SJ, officiated.

Honor attendants were: Mrs. Larry J. McElwain, matron of honor; Mary Elizabeth Mannix, maid of honor; Patrick Mannix, best man; Steven J. Belknap, usher; and Master Grant W. McElwain, ring bearer.

Mr. Elwood J. Purcell, a family friend, drove the bride to church and afterwards took the bridal couple to the reception at the historic Carlyle House where the Rev. Sherodd Albritton, professor of music at Virginia Theological Seminary, and Mrs. Albritton, Seminary organist, provided Baroque and classical music on harpsicord and recorder.

The groom is a graduate of Lafayette College and George Mason University School of Law with an MBA from George Washington University. He is with the McLean, Va. law firm of Kerr and Bohannon. Mrs. Mannix, an alumna of James Madison High School in Vienna, attended George Mason University, and is a sales representative with Lanier Business Products in Arlington.

After honeymooning in Jamaica, the couple will take up residence in Arlington.
