At four o'clock on Saturday, April 12, Carol Eileen Bagge, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl E. Bagge of Potomac, Md., was married to Lawrence R. Alberti III, in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, this city. The bride's cousin, the Rev. Stephen D. Quill of Houston, Tx. officiated assisted by the Rev. Henry B. Luffberry of St. Paul's.
The bride, a 1972 Washington Cotillion debutante, is a graduate of Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School, Northwestern University (Ill.) and Loyola Law School (Ill.). Her husband, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence R. Alberti Jr. of Hinsdale, Ill., is a graduate of the University of Michigan and Northwestern University's School of Business.
Barbara Bagge was her sister's maid of honor and her youngest sister, Beverly, was a bridesmaid along with Katherine Boykin, Janet Jones, and Monique Troglia Rub. The Rev. and Mrs. Quill's daughters, Stephanie and Staci, were flower girls. William Alberti was his brother's best man. Other groomsmen were Charles Bagge, the bride's brother, Thomas MacKimm and William Pontius, cousins of the groom, and William Waterston.
Following a reception at Congressional Country Club, the couple flew to Jamaica for their honeymoon and are now at home in Chicago where the bride is an environmental affairs lawyer and Mr. Alberti a research analyst with Inland Steel.
