Charlottesville, Va. -- Torey M. Todd, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John D. Todd, was given in marriage by her parents to William K. Hardy, 2nd. Lt. USA, son of Col. (USA ret.) and Mrs. Leslie B. Hardy of McLean, Va., in First United Methodist Church. The Rev. Robert H. Garner conducted the ceremony last Saturday, which was followed by a reception in the Farmington Country Club.
The bride's formal gown of white chiffon was designed with an empire bodice and featured a Queen Anne neckline and long full bishop sleeves accented with silk venise lace and seed pearls. The full skirt fell into a chapel train and the fingertip veil of English illusion was edged with lace and attached to a lace Camelot cap. Her maid of honor was Tammy Wiest assisted by bridesmaids: Helene Stowe, Margo Coble, Tyra Settle, and Sandi Landis. Serving Lt. Hardy was Charles J. Lumpkin as best man; Mark W. Mueller, Steven H. Hickey, William Murphy and John A. Capitelli.
The bride is a graduate of Albermarle High School and her husband of Jefferson High School. She is a student at James Madison University (Va.) from which Lt. Hardy was graduated. They are honeymooning in Florida and will live in Columbus, Ga.
