The gardens of The Manor, West Orange, N.J. set the scene for the double ring marriage ceremony and wedding reception of Deborah Anne Deffaa, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis P. Deffaa of Glen Rock, N.J., and Bruce Forbes Lee, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph W. Lee of Chevy Chase, Md. and the late Millicent Lee, on Saturday, May 24th. The Rev. Verne M. Dethmers, pastor of the Community Church of Glen Rock, officiated, with John Wesley Ward, a Princeton classmate of the bridal couple, as soloist.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white silk organza and Alencon lace gown with a circular cut cathedral train. In her hair she had a crown of fresh Jacqueline roses and baby's breath over a white organza blusher and she carried a matching bouquet. Her sister-in-law, Fatimah K. Deffaa of Saudi Arabia, the matron of honor, was gowned in red organza and held a rose bouquet. James W. Lee, McLean, Va., was his brother's best man and the ushers were Arthur Deffaa, Saudi Arabia, and Chip Deffaa, Glen Rock, brothers of the bride; along with Steve Zubrod, Dallas Tx., and Steve Guild, Belle Meade, N.J.
The bride, who will retain her maiden name, is a graduate of Princeton University and plans to attend graduate school. Mr. Lee, a graduate of St. Alban's School here and Princeton University, is with Sandoz Pharmaceuticals. They will reside in Arlington, Va. after honeymooning in St. Maarten and the Bahamas.
