In the Chapel of the House of Living Judaism in Manhattan, Gayle Iselin, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alan V. Iselin of Albany, N.Y., and John Engel, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Engel of Kings Point, N.Y., were married, Sunday, May 25th. Rabbi Alexander M. Schindler, president of the Union of American Hebrew Congregations, performed the ceremony.

The couple was attended by Marcia Levi of Washington, D.C., and Peter Engel, brother of the bridegroom, of New York City.

The bride, a construction coordinator with Case Construction Co. of Washington, D.C., is a graduate of Albany Academy for Girls and attended Bard College; she obtained her degree from the University of Louisville. Her father is chairman of the board and president of Amadac Industries. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Neil Hellman of Boca Raton, Fla., and of Mrs. Albert Iselin of Hallandale, Fla. and the late Mr. Iselin.

Mr. Engel is an alumnus of Phillips Academy at Andover, Yale University, and received a law degree from Georgetown University Law Center. He is a partner in the Washington law firm of Shaw, Pittman, Potts and Trowbridge. His father, now retired, was president of New Period Lacquer Co. of New York.
