Mary Louise Bullinger Blackmon and James R. Talbot, Jr. were married last Monday in the Truro Episcopal Church in Fairfax. The Rev. Neil G. Lebhar, assistant rector, was the officiating minister. Mrs. Talbot wore a gown of candlelight ivory with a shirred bodice and a wrapped skirt with a tulip hemline. Her candlelight ivory picture hat was decorated with lace appliques and roses. Mrs. Eileen Wield of Los Altos, Cal., the bride's sister, was matron of honor; Mr. Talbot was served by his sons, Lt. James R. Talbot III, (USN), of Pace, Fla., best man and C. Scott Talbot, the usher.
The bride received her bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Denver, and is a Special Assistant to the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Equal Opportunity. Mr. Talbot graduated from the University of Virginia and received a master's from The George Washington University. He is the Deputy of Operations in the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Manpower, Reserve Affairs and Logistics.
Following a reception for the immediate family at the bride's home in Burke, Va., the couple left for St. John in the Virgin Islands. They will live in Oakton, Va.
