Kristin SerVaas and William R. Loomis, Jr. were married last Saturday in St. John's Episcopal Church of Lattingtown in Locust Valley, N.Y.; the Rev. Bruce Rodgers performed the ceremony. Joan SerVaas was maid of honor for her sister and H. Scott Miller, the best man. The reception was held at Piping Rock Club.

The bride is Director of Corporate Deveopment at Whitney Communications in New York. She is a graduate of Harvard Business School and Wellesley College, where she was the editior of the Wellesley News. Her father, Beurt SerVaas, is Chairman of the Indianapolis Rubber Company, the North Vernon Forge, and SerVaas Inc., an Indianapolis holding company. He also serves as President of the Indianapolis City Council. The bride's mother, Dr. Cory SerVaas, is Chairman of Curtis publishing Company and Editior and Publisher of the Saturday Evening Post.

Mr. Loomis, son of Capt. (USN ret.) and Mrs. William R. Loomis of Silver Spring Md. and Coronado, Cal., is a vice-president of Lazard Freres & Co., investment bankers in New York. He attended the Rossall School, Fleetwood, England, and graduated from the Loomis School, Windsor, Ct., which was founded by members of his family in 1874. He is a cum laude graduate of William College, where he received a Thomas J. Watson Fellowship for a year of study in Asia and is also a graduate of the Harvard Business School. His father is a retired Line Officer of the United States Navy and is currently a consultant with CACI, an engineering firm in Arlington, Va.
