The marriage of Margaret Christiana Adams, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. John Adams of Potomac, Md., and Thierry Andre Bruno Vagne was celebrated on August 2 in the Bradley Hills Presbyterian Church. Dr. Arthur R. Hall, pastor, and the Rev. C. P. Mulrooney, O. Praem., of the Norbertine Missionaries of Saint Norbert Abbey, De Pere, Wisc., were concelebrants.
Nancy Hall, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. A. R. Hall and an attendant to the bride, translated the service to the French-speaking Vagne family; the groom's parents, M. and Mme. Hurbert Vagne; his grandfather, M. Henri Guiot; and cousin, Mme. Roberte Gaujour. The bride's sister, Mrs. Gregory Temple, was matron of honor and her daughter, Eve Cohen, the junior bridesmaid with the groom's sister, Isobelle Vagne, Le Raincey, France; Amy Booth, New York City; Mary Katherine Delaney, Potomac; and Ann Coyle, Washington, D.C., as the bridesmaids.
M. Vagne was attended by his brother, Bernard Vagne, Gregory Temple, Dr. Robert Lougee, Dr. Paul Kaufman, Bruce Kaufman, David Cohen and Alan Myers.
The reception, at the Bethesda Country Club, followed. After a brief trip to Sea Island, Ga., M. and Mme. Vagne returned to France and are now residing in Paris.
