Ann Allen Bush and Charles Morgan Bailey Cooper were united in marriage Sunday, April 26 in the Little Sanctuary, Mount Saint Alban, Washington, D.C. The Rev. Mark H. Mullin, headmaster of St. Alban's School, performed the ceremony which was followed by a celebration of Holy Communion. Members of the bride's family from Colorado and New Mexico and the groom's family from the State of Washington and this city took part in the service with special music composed by a brother of the bride. The reception, for families and out-of-town guests who were witnesses at the ceremony, followed at the Burling House of St. Alban's School.
The bride, daughter of Mrs. Nancy Ferguson Bush of Washington, D.C. and Mr. Monroe Bush of Denver, Col., attended the National Cathedral School, here, and graduated from Boulder (Col.) High School and the Massachusetts General School of Nursing.
Mr. Cooper, son of Dr. and Mrs. William Hurlbert Cooper of Washington, D.C., attended St. Alban's School and the University of Virginia and has a BA in communications from the University of Washington in Seattle.
Both the bride and groom have been employed by the Emergency Service of George Washington University Hospital. Following their trip to Europe, they will live in Charlottesville, Va. where Mr. Cooper will attend the University of Virginia Medical School.
