Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Jennings of McLean, Va. and Sarasota, Fla. announce the marriage of Mrs. Jennings' daughter, Mary Marshall (Mimi) Allen, to Dr. Alfred Hernandez, son of Mr. and Mrs. Silvio Hernandez of Tampa, Fla. Mrs. Hernandez is also the daughter of Marshall Fell Allen of Warrenton, Va. The evening ceremony was performed April 4 at St. Albans Church in Washington with the Rev. Thomas Blackmon officiating, assisted by the bride's brother, the Rev. Marshall Randolph Fell Allen of Charleston, S.C.

The bride, given in marriage by her stepfather, wore a white mousseline de soie gown trimmed with satin and lace accented by a seed pearl necklace that belonged to her great grandmother. A pearl-edge veil fell from a matching cap and the bridal bouquet was of rubrum lilies and stephanotis. Wearing white Victorian gowns and carrying rubrum lilies with roses were the bride's sister, Mrs. Michel Georges Peissel of Cadaques, Spain, matron of honor, and Mrs. William Hugh Zietz, Joan Barbara Mower and Margaret Katterfeld Tacey.

George Edward Landrum was best man and the ushers were Dr. Douglas Lowy, and Dr. John Stuart and Dr. Lawrence Abramson, both of Memphis.

A reception followed at the Sulgrave Club.

Upon their return from a wedding trip to France, the newlyweds will be at home in Memphis where the groom, a research dermatologist, is a professor at the University of Tennessee and associated with the Veterans Hospital.
