The marriage of Dr. Janette Winston Lewis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Guy Clayton Lewis, Jr. of Bowling Green, Va., to Andrew Keith Worthington, son of Mrs. Howard Leslie Worthington of Alexandria and the late Mr. Worthington, took place May 30 at seven in the evening in the Bowling Green Baptist Church. The Rev. Gene Ryckman, pastor, officiated.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown fashioned of ivory silk organza with reembroidered alencon lace and her mother's pearl tiarra holdng the veil of ivory illusion.
Mrs. John Simpson Moss, Sr. of Richmond was matron of honor. Other attendants were Mrs. Steve Echols, Susan Nelson, Sydney White and Dresden Farmer. Harvey Randall Shure was best man and the groomsmen were James Clayton Lewis, brother of the bride, Mario Umberto Gomez Robledo, P. David Cash and Lawrence W. Crane.
The reception following was held at Fredericksburg Country Club.
Mr. Worthington, who holds a BS from Virginia Commonwealth University, will receive his MD degree next year from the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond. His wife recently received her MD degree from the Medical College of Virginia and will begin internship at MCV's hospital in July.
The couple will make their home in Richmond.
