Beth Ann Boverman, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Maxwell Boverman of Potomac, Md., was recently married to Kenneth Cobleigh, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Cobleigh of Carteret, N.J. The eleven o'clock ceremony took place at the Potomac United Methodist Church with the Rev. William Farrady officiating.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a lace hat and veil and a white gown of lace and silk complemented by a pearl, diamond and ruby lavelier which was given by her grandfather, Dr. Henry J. Broderson, to his bride on their wedding day. Katrina Boverman, her sister, was maid of honor, accompanied by Andrea Perkins, Cheryl May, and Leigh Ann Bischoff, cousin of the bride. Tom Lore was best man assisted by Dan McConegly and Jim Albertson -- Sigma Pi brothers, and David Boverman, brother of the bride.
The wedding reception was held at "The Landing" home of the bride's parents.
The bride attended the University of Maryland and is now employed by the New Carrollton Veterinary Hospital in Lanham. The groom graduated in 1980 from the University of Maryland with a degree in law enforcement and is now with the Howard County Police Department.
The newlyweds are living in Ellicott City, Md., following a wedding trip to Williamsburg.
