Jane Louise Olenchuk was married last Saturday, June 20, to Joseph Henrie McCann, III, in All Saint's Church in Ogunquit, Me. by Father Joseph Devlin, SJ, friend of the bridal couple, assisted by the bride's brother-in-law, Dr. Robert Burns Shaw, an associate professor of English at Yale University. Mrs. Nancy Anne Shaw was her sister's matron of honor and Mr. McCann's father was best man.

The bride, who will retain her maiden name, is the daughter of Maj. Gen. (USA ret.) and Mrs. Peter George Olenchuk of McLean, Va. and Ogunquit, Me. General Olenchuk is the Chairman of The Newport (R.I.) Institute and a director of Perry International, Inc., Philadelphia, and former Army Assistant Deputy Chief of Staff for Research, Development and Acquisition at the Pentagon. The bride's grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. George Olenchuk of Bayonne, N.J. and Dr. and Mrs. Hugh Melvin Clement, Sr. of Baltimore (Arbutus), Md. and North Turner, Me.

Mr. McCann is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Henrie McCann, Jr. of Stamford, Ct. His father is the corporate counsel, IBM World Trade, Americas/Far East Corporation, International Business Machines Corporation and past president of the Westchester Fairfield County Corporate Counsels Association. His mother, who taught in the Stamford public high schools, is currently with Combustion Engineering. The Groom's grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Henrie McCann and Mrs. Gladys O'Keefe of Worcester, Mass. and the late Mr. George O'Keefe.

Miss Olenchuk holds a BA from Wellesley College (Mass), studied at Yale University (Ct.), and graduated from Katharine Gibbs in Boston and the bridegroom is a graduate of Lafayette College (Pa.). Both hold masters in business administration from the Tuck School at Dartmouth College (N.H.). After serving with the Peace Corps in Honduras, Mr. McCann went with Litton Industries in New York and is currently employed by Bankers Trust Company of New York City. His wife is with Mobil Oil Corporation in New York City, where they will live after a wedding trip to Spain.
