In a morning ceremony, on May 23, in the Main Post Chapel, Fort Belvoir, Va., Father Gerard Creedon and Pastor Neal Jones united in marriage Susan Meredith Moore, daughter of Brigadier General and Mrs. James E. Moore, Jr. of Alexandria, and Robert Diven Donegan, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gorman S. Donegan of Annandale. The bride is the granddaughter of Mrs. Roy M. Phillips of Falls Church and of General James E. Moore, USA ret., of Arlington. Mr. Donegan is the grandson of Helen Donegan of Tarpon Springs, Fla.
Marci Scott Allen, Panama City, Fla., was maid of honor; the bridesmaids were Capt. Elizabeth M. Moore, USA, MSC, Monterey, Cal., and Mary D. Moore, sisters of the bride, and Mrs. Allen French, sister of the groom.
Mr. Donegan served as his son's best man; the groom's brother, Gorman Donegan, his brother-in-law, Allen French, and the bride's brothers, James, Robert and Michael Moore, ushered, with brother Matthew C. Moore, as ring bearer. The bride's cousin, Mrs. Daniel yconley, sang a solo accompanied by Elizabeth Moore on the guitar.
The reception was held at Cedar Knoll Inn on the Potomac with music by the Jonathan Futrell Trio.
After their wedding trip to Williamsburg and Myrtle Beach, Mr. and Mrs. Donegan are at home in Annandale.
